Exchanges that Matter

At iocto, openness is part of our approach. We believe it is important to stay in conversation, provide insights, and show what drives us in our daily work. Real progress can only happen when business, politics, and administration share perspectives and learn from one another.

Last week, we were pleased to welcome representatives from politics, business, and administration as part of the IHK Frankfurt district tour. In addition to IHK President Ulrich Caspar and members of the IHK executive board, Hofheim’s new mayor Wilhelm Schultze and Frank Otters, economic coordinator of the Main-Taunus district, were also in attendance. The aim of the meeting was to exchange views, discuss challenges, and talk about the future of the local business location.

After a brief introduction to our company by our managing directors Stefan Schmitt and Paul Nottarp, the conversation quickly became lively. Key topics included economic development, attracting skilled professionals, and regional opportunities. The discussions clearly showed how closely business, politics, and administration are connected. Valuable insights from practical experience were also contributed by Richard Tontsch, Head of Marketing at Yaskawa Europe GmbH, whose company in Hattersheim had hosted the delegation just before.

We sincerely thank everyone involved for the visit and the open exchange of ideas. A special thanks also goes to the previous mayor, Christian Vogt, for the trusting and constructive collaboration over the past years. We look forward to continuing this successful partnership with Wilhelm Schultze.

Encounters like these demonstrate the importance of open dialogue. Meaningful progress is only possible if we continue the conversation together – in the city, across the region, and within the broader economy.
