Your area of responsibility

Are you passionate about Linux, automation, and modern development tools? Become our Software Developer Inhouse (m/f/d) and help us create secure, efficient systems that keep our projects running smoothly!

Your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain internal tools and services    
  • Set up and maintain the department’s Linux server infrastructure, including security updates and management of shares
  • Support and maintain development tools such as SVN, BCS, and Helix ALM
  • Advise and assist the development team on IT-related questions, particularly Linux configuration, security, NTP, virtual machines, and Docker
  • Ensure data integrity in collaboration with the development team
  • Support the implementation of regulatory requirements (particularly Cyber Resilience Act)

Your profile

  • Completed IT-related vocational training or degree in Computer Science
  • Sound knowledge of SVN (client usage and server administration)
  • Strong proficiency in Bash scripting
  • Good understanding of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Maven) 
  • Working knowledge of Python, Perl, Java, JavaScript
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in German and English
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities
  • High level of commitment, independent and reliable work style
