Many applications using measurement technology and automation used in the pharmaceutical sector, food sector and other industries, across Germany and worldwide, originate from us. Some product lines are already in the 6th generation and they are still in operation today. We are proud of that.

Our Management
Paul Nottarp
Paul Nottarp has been the Commercial Director of iocto GmbH since September 2018 and is responsible for the Organisation, Sales, Human Resources, Finance and Legal departments.
Prior to this appointment as Managing Director, Paul was responsible for Human Resources, Finance and Legal affairs at iocto. He began his professional career as a lawyer in Frankfurt am Main.
Paul Nottarp studied law at the University of Bayreuth and at the WWU Münster and is a fully qualified lawyer. He also holds a Master of Law from the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK, and has an Executive Master of Business Administration from Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany.
Stefan Schmitt
Stefan Schmitt has been Technical Managing Director of iocto GmbH since March 2013 and is responsible for the Technology, IT, Production and Service departments. He has more than 25 years of professional experience in the field of measurement technology and in software development.
Prior to his appointment as Managing Director, Stefan Schmitt worked for the company for eight years as Head of the Development Department. He began his career in 1998 as a development engineer at iocto.
Stefan Schmitt studied electrical engineering and information technology at the Technical University of Darmstadt and graduated with a degree in engineering. Already during his studies he worked as a student trainee at iocto and successfully completed his professional internship at the company in 1996. Stefan Schmitt started his career as a software programmer at the age of ten on a Sinclair ZX81.
Will Clark
Will Clark has been Managing Director of iocto GmbH since January 2021 and is responsible for the Research and Product Innovation departments. He has more than 20 years’ professional experience in product development in the life sciences sector.
Prior to his appointment as managing director, Will spent eight years as head of development at iocto. He started working for the company in 2008 as a software developer. Previously, the native Englishman worked as a project engineer for a large American life sciences company.
Will Clark holds a Master of Engineering from Durham University, Durham, UK. During his studies he specialized in electronics and software development. At the age of six, Will was already programming his first software on a home computer from the British company Acorn.
