Local Dialogue

In November, we were pleased to welcome Christiane Hinninger, Mayor of the State Capital Wiesbaden, and Birgit Knetsch, Head of the Office for Economy and Employment, to iocto. On behalf of the entire team, Paul Nottarp and Stefan Schmitt provided insights into our current projects, the development of our company, and the topics that drive us as a medium-sized enterprise.

The exchange clearly highlighted the challenges faced by both the municipal level and regional companies, and how closely many of these issues are interconnected. Securing skilled labour remains a key factor for economic stability. Digitalisation is also increasingly coming into focus – not only as a technological task, but as a strategic foundation for competitiveness, innovation, and modern work processes.
Especially in a region that is economically strong yet facing structural change, reliable bridges between politics and business are essential.

The visit from Wiesbaden once again showed us how important a direct channel to political decision-makers is in order to present our entrepreneurial reality transparently and to work together on solutions to shared challenges. We very much appreciated the constructive attitude and sincere interest of our guests.

A heartfelt thank you to Mayor Christiane Hinninger and Birgit Knetsch for their visit and the insightful dialogue. We look forward to continuing our collaboration.
