Anna Lührmann at iocto

Last Thursday, October 2, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Anna Lührmann, Member of the German Bundestag for the Main-Taunus district, Deputy Chair of the Committee on Digital Affairs and State Modernization, and Chair of BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN Hessen. She was accompanied by Johannes Schwarz, Advisor for State and Constituency Affairs, and intern Felix Buzello.

After a brief round of introductions and a company presentation, an intensive exchange developed on the central issues of our time: How can digitalisation, sustainability, and competitiveness be combined in practice? What opportunities do current political conditions offer, and where do existing regulations still create obstacles in everyday business life?

The discussion once again highlighted how essential direct dialogue between politics and business is. Only by understanding each other’s challenges can both sides develop viable solutions for the future.

For us as an SME, visits like this provide a valuable opportunity to build bridges and shape the future together. We sincerely thank all participants for their interest and the open exchange of ideas.

In Profile

Dr. Anna Lührmann, born in 1983 in Lich, has long been committed to shaping forward-looking politics. At 19, she was first elected to the Bundestag – the youngest member in its history. After years in research, including at the V-Dem Institute in Sweden, she returned to politics in 2021. We are especially pleased about her connection to Hofheim, where she graduated from the Main-Taunus-Gymnasium.
